Everyone's an Artist
Creativity isn't a talent reserved for the few—it's a birthright. Whether you've been painting for years or you're holding a brush for the first time since kindergarten, the table has a seat with your name on it.
Artsy Me is a neighborhood pottery studio for messy hands, big imaginations, and slow afternoons spent making something with the people you love.
Artsy Me was born from a simple belief: everyone is an artist — they just need a place to prove it. Cricket and Brad Willis opened the first Artsy Me on December 1st, 2001, three weeks before welcoming their fourth child. As Augusta's first contemporary ceramic studio, they gave their community something it didn't know it was missing — a place to slow down, create by hand, and leave with something worth keeping.
When life asked them to be flexible, they got creative. Cricket packed up brushes and hit the road — visiting schools, churches, and events with kids in tow, bringing the Artsy Me experience wherever people gathered. In 2012, they planted roots in Evans at 4275 Washington Road, one of Columbia County's oldest landmarks, and that's still home. A Downtown Augusta location followed in 2016, and after navigating 2020, Artsy Me @ the Gateway opened in Grovetown that October.
More than two decades later, the mission hasn't changed: a welcoming space where any age, any skill level, and any occasion becomes an opportunity to make something meaningful together.
These aren't posters on the wall. They're the reason we exist—and the rules we paint by, every single day.

Tired, messy, loud, quiet, alone, together, six or sixty. Artsy Me is built to feel like the comfiest part of your living room—except with way more glitter and zero pressure to perform.
Long after the kiln cools, your piece becomes a keepsake of who you were with, what you laughed about, and the way that afternoon felt. We make memories—pottery is just the souvenir.
Walk in for an afternoon, book a private party, or plan your next milestone celebration. Whatever you're dreaming up, we'll meet you at the brush.
